Stripe
Quiet confidence, in motion: Stripe builds financial infrastructure for the internet, and its brand rests on two signature motifs, the Wave and the Parallelogram. Stripe’s Brand Studio brought Estudi-Image in to evolve both, giving them one material language built to scale and flex across every marketing channel.

Typography
The brief
Stripe’s visual language had grown across many marketing channels, and its Brand Studio wanted it to read as one voice wherever it appeared. Rather than commission a redesign, the team brought Estudi-Image in for a focused R&D phase around the two motifs that carry the brand most: the Wave and the Parallelogram. The goal was a system that could scale, flex and still hold together as a whole, from a phone screen to a subway platform. The Wave had to be evolved, not changed, keeping everything people already recognize while pushing how it could look and move.
The system
The direction came from a single idea: quiet confidence and optimism, expressed through color. Estudi-Image went tighter and more immersive, placing the Wave in z-space and letting light pierce through depth of field, so the motif reads as a physical object with weight and glow rather than a flat graphic. The Parallelogram shares the same material language, letting the two motifs carry a layout on their own or work together in one frame. Every composition was crafted in 3D and animation, so each asset moves as naturally as it holds still.
The identity
The R&D became a set of hero brand assets designed to travel across Stripe’s marketing surface: phone and laptop screens, cards and ads, billboards, street posters, subway placements and stickers. Söhne, Stripe’s typeface by Klim, keeps the typography calm and precise, so the color and light of the motifs do the expressive work. Alongside the assets, Estudi-Image produced guidelines for using the Wave and the Parallelogram consistently, turning a creative exploration into a toolkit Stripe’s teams can apply anywhere.
Outcome
Stripe comes away with its two signature motifs evolved into one scalable system: hero brand assets ready for every channel, and clear guidelines that keep the Wave and the Parallelogram consistent wherever the brand appears.
